REV. ERIC KENDALL
Pastor, Husband, Father, Nerd, Student, Follower of Christ.
To say that I have had a good life so far would be an understatement. I was born and raised in Parkersburg, WV by two amazing parents who taught me by word and by their actions that faith is about much more than a simple belief in God. Their example of service and devotion to God helped me develop an early understanding of servant leadership and the principles I learned from them have carried me through my life and profoundly impact my ministry today.
Upon graduating from Parkersburg South High School in 2005, I attended West Virginia University where I was a member of The Pride of West Virginia The Mountaineer Marching Band, The Basketball Pep Band, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia music fraternity. More importantly, however, WVU is where I met and fell in love with my beautiful wife, Sarah.
After completing my Bachelors Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies, I attended the West Virginia Extension program of Palmer Theological Seminary and earned a Masters of Divinity.
Some of my interests include being outdoors, movies (especially Star Wars and comic book movies), reading, fellowship with family and friends, and just about anything sports related.
My greatest passions are training and equipping others to help discover their vision and grow in their faith. I am available for speaking, teaching, and training in leadership, youth ministry, children's ministry, and family ministry. If you would like to hear more about my ministry, please feel free to contact me through the form on my home page.
Finally, thank you for taking your time to join me on this adventure of life and faith we are all exploring together. I hope this blog will not only help me stay grounded in my walk but that it might help others along the way. If you have any suggestions or thoughts about posts or the blog, in general, I would love to hear from you!
